H-E-B partners with app that lets you video chat with a doctor anywhere

The doctor is in… your cellphone. MDBox, a telemedicine app that connects doctors and patients through video chat, is now available at select H-E-Bs in Texas. For typically less than $50, a person can purchase a single doctor’s visit at the store’s pharmacy counter and download the MD Box app. According to Reliant Immune Diagnostics, it’s equivalent to a complete doctor’s visit in which the “on-demand medical provider… can prescribe medication, if it’s needed.”
