Lancaster County kids use virtual reality to try health care careers, 'save lives' at Pa. College of Health Sciences

It’s not every day that a 13-year-old saves someone’s life. But through an immersive, virtual-reality experience at Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences, several hundred local middle and high school students did just that. Students on Wednesday got to navigate through a health care professional’s first day on the job, from studying sonograms and assisting surgery to sorting medications and performing CPR — all by simply pressing buttons on a remote.
