Lyft is integrating with Epic to make it easier for hospital staff to schedule rides for their patients. More health plans are covering the cost of nonemergency medical transportation to ensure that patients show up to their appointments. Two hospital networks have signed up so far: Ochsner Health in Louisiana and Tampa General in Florida.
