U.S. Senators Dick Durbin and Tammy Duckworth are demanding answers from a California-based health system that recently bought eight Illinois hospitals. The two Senators sent a letter to Prime Healthcare asking why they decided to suspend or terminate pediatric, trauma, and maternal care services at some of the hospitals.
