Telemedicine brings access to specialty health care to North Country

New technology is helping people in more rural areas of New Hampshire get access to health care. Residents of Northern New Hampshire have often found it challenging to get access to health care. Four hospitals in the region form North Country Healthcare, and the northernmost, serving 8,000 residents across 850 square miles, is the 16-bed, critical care Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital in Colebrook.
