UPMC subsidiary that targets hospital readmissions acquires New York telehealth company

A for-profit UPMC subsidiary has acquired a New York telehealth company serving patients in long-term care facilities, doubling its reach in a market that’s heating up. South Side-based Curavi Health Inc. on Tuesday announced the acquisition of TripleCare, which was founded in 2011 and has offices in Long Island.
