More than three-dozen employees of the state’s 18 hospital chains made more than $1 million in salary and benefits in fiscal year 2016. Employees with total compensation packages of $1 million-plus — who totaled 39 in number — include those from hospitals in Bridgeport, Greenwich, Stamford, Danbury and New Haven. The number of employees getting $1 million or more rose from 2015, when there were 35.
