Bill could make hospitals post more data

WY hospitals are resisting a possible legislative effort that could require them to publicly disclose more of their prices and quality-of-care statistics. State lawmakers debated the proposal that would force the hospitals to post the information, free of charge, on the Internet. The data would include the standard charge for inpatient care, the standard charge for obstetric patients, prices for various procedures and the hospitals' infection rates.
