Horizon BCBS survey finds cost of healthcare in NJ too high

A new survey released on Saturday said that a majority of New Jerseyans feel that the cost of health care is just too high. The survey, released by Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey (Horizon BCBSNJ) and TargetSmart Communications, said that residents also pay the second highest costs for health care in the country. Additionally, the health insurer cited a statistic stating the state's health care costs are rising 25 percent faster than the national average. That statistic is offered according to the The National Association of Insurance Commissioners. The survey also seems to show that the new OMNIA Alliance plan might be popular.
