Emergency medicine practice management company launches

A new practice management company focused on emergency medicine has launched in Nashville. Emergency Physician Partners, founded by former AmSurg and Quorum Health Resources exec Christopher Kelly, will take over the administrative side of emergency medicine practices across the country. The company was launched with more than $25 million in funding from Claritas Capital, a Nashville-based investment firm. The funding will be used to buy emergency medicine practices, expected to begin in the first quarter of next year. In addition to Kelly, who was most recently executive vice president and general counsel of U.S. Anesthesia Partners, EPP's senior management team includes Brady Sturgeon as chief financial officer and Brian White as chief operating officer.
