St. Louis University Hospital announced Dr. Nirav Patel as its new chief medical officer. Patel, an infectious disease specialist, has served as the interim chief medical officer since July 2014, following Dr. Karen Webb's retirement from the 356-bed academic medical center."Dr. Patel is an asset to our hospital.
