Poinciana, FL, residents get OK for 60-bed hospital

Capping a nearly three-year battle, residents in Poinciana, FL, an unincorporated community straddling the Osceola-Polk border learned they will finally get their hospital. The Florida Agency for Health Care Administration has approved construction of a 60-bed acute-care hospital, which Osceola Regional Medical Center will operate.
