Family of slain pharmacist says Mercy Hospital 'failed to take even the most basic security measures' during shooting rampage a year ago

A lawsuit filed by the family of a pharmacist killed last year during a shooting at Mercy Hospital contends the director of public safety was notified that the shooter was armed before he fired his gun, but failed to respond appropriately.
