Lourdes Health Names New CEO

Joan White-Wagoner, MHA, MBA, FACHE will lead the LifePoint Health hospital effective May 3.

LifePoint Health announced the appointment of Joan White-Wagoner, MHA, MBA, FACHE as CEO of Lourdes Health on Monday.

Effective May 3, White-Wagoner will replace interim CEO Chad Pew, who has led the Pasco, Washington-based hospital since September.

"Joan is a seasoned leader who is deeply committed to our mission of Making Communities Healthier," Sandy Podley, president of LifePoint Health’s Western Division which includes Lourdes Health, said in the press release. "I am confident that her passion for quality care, her operational expertise, and her strong track record for organizational growth will be a tremendous benefit to Lourdes. We look forward to the many ways her leadership will help further improve the health and well-being of the community in the years to come."

White-Wagoner has extensive healthcare experience and previously served in several hospital leadership positions. Most recently, she served as senior managing director at MRN Healthcare Management, a consulting firm in Washington, North Carolina.

Prior to that, she served as CEO of Martin General Health System, based in Williamston, North Carolina. She previously served as system vice president and medical center CEO for Baptist Health Medical Center in Conway, Arkansas, and system chief operating officer for Texas General Hospital System in Grand Prairie, Texas.
