One-third of nurses have quit N.J. hospitals since 2019 and it's because of burnout, survey shows

Nearly one in three RNs in New Jersey have left hospital bedside care over the past three years because of the crushing workload and intolerable stress, according to a survey of 500 nurses commissioned by the largest union representing healthcare workers in the state.
