Coronavirus cluster discovered at Brigham and Women's Hospital

A coronavirus cluster has been discovered at Brigham and Women’s Hospital involving five patients and five staff members. The hospital said on Thursday that the cluster is connected to two inpatient units where positive tests were reported. Contact tracing is underway to find anyone else who may have been exposed. All patients who are admitted to the hospital are being tested for COVID-19. Staff, patients and visitors also must wear hospital-issued masks while on campus.
