El Camino Hospital's nurses union voted Tuesday to authorize a strike after negotiations with hospital leaders on a three-year contract broke down earlier this year. More than 95% of the Professional Resource for Nurses (PRN) members voted in favor of a strike, with 83% of the nurses participating in the vote.
