Massachusetts nurses, scared for their safety, brace for coronavirus peak

Jacqueline Fitts has taken every precaution she can think of to protect herself and her family from coronavirus — and it still might not work. The psych ward nurse at Morton Hospital converted her spare bedroom into a makeshift isolation chamber. Her scrubs go straight into the washer after every shift. She wears a cotton face mask around the house, even just to use the bathroom.
