Philadelphia nurses rally for safe staffing standards

Unionized nurses demanded a fair contract as they rallied on Thursday outside of St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children and Hahnemann University Hospital. Their union, the Pennsylvania Association of Staff Nurses and Allied Professionals (PASNAP) is negotiating collective bargaining agreements with their employer American Academic Health System, but have not reached a deal.
