Democratic presidential contender Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) on Tuesday announced an endorsement from National Nurses United, the largest union of registered nurses in the U.S. The group cited Sanders's Medicare for All proposal as one of the reasons it was backing the Vermont senator's White House bid.
