Sturdy Memorial Hospital contends a ballot question calling for mandatory minimum staffing of nurses at Massachusetts hospitals would cost it over $5 million and force service cuts. However, the nursing group promoting the Question 1 referendum in the Nov. 6 election counters the hospital industry is making wild and deceptive claims.
