Hamilton County Commissioner Todd Portune is backing nurses who are entering their fourth week of a strike against a Mercy Health hospital in Toledo. Portune sent an open letter to Mercy Health, saying that he plans to file a resolution that will officially ask Mercy to address "crucial staffing issues" that lead to the strike.
