Union goes to the feds over UC Health's firing, discipline of nurses

Turmoil has escalated over union activity at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center to address long working hours for nurses. The nurses’ union for the region’s academic hospital has asked the federal government to review the June 11 dismissal of a veteran nurse and the discipline of another at the Corryville facility as an unlawful obstruction of union business.
