UVM Medical Center, professional technicians begin contract negotiations

Less than four months after University of Vermont Medical Center settled a contentious contract dispute with unionized nurses, another labor struggle may be in the works. The hospital’s technical professionals, who work under a contract that expires March 1, are raising staffing, salary and safety concerns after two negotiating sessions with administrators.
