New Oregon health plan for working poor would jack up costs for people earning slightly more

A 21-year-old Portlander who makes less than about $29,000 a year would have their health insurance costs erased under a proposed new health plan. If the same person earned a bit more, however, they could see the cost of premiums for their modest health insurance plan jump more than $1,300 annually because of the new state program
