Evolving Healthcare Delivery Models

What will healthcare delivery models of the future look like? That was a question posed to the more than 30 nurse executives from leading U.S. hospitals and healthcare systems during the HealthLeaders Media invitation-only 2017 CNO Exchange, held in November at the Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia in Arizona. The jury is still out on the details of these new care models. However, Exchange participants agreed that to provide high value and high quality, healthcare delivery needs to occur across the continuum rather than in segregated buckets of acute care, postacute care, and ambulatory care.
