Broward Health CEO Gino Santorio resigned on Friday after bringing stability to the leadership of the public health system that had been troubled when he took the top spot two years ago. Santorio will become CEO of Mount Sinai Medical Center of Greater Miami, the largest independent non-profit teaching hospital in South Florida.
