The owners of three hospitals in Hudson County have taken another major step toward getting out of the hospital business. More than 2,100 layoff notices have been issued to employees at Hoboken University Medical Center (HUMC) and Christ Hospital in Jersey City, two Carepoint facilities that are being purchased by RJWBarnabas Health.
