Centene adds PANTHERx, a speciality pharmacy, to health plan portfolio

Centene has completed the acquisition of PANTHERx, a specialty pharmacy company the health insurer will use to bolster its prescription benefit operation. "PANTHERx is a leader in rare disease pharmacy and brings a unique capability to our comprehensive pharmacy portfolio,” Centene chairman and CEO Michael Neidorff said Wednesday. “Together, we will ensure patients living with complex and rare diseases get the quality care they deserve."
