The dream of a new hospital for South Georgian Bay appears to be closer to reality than ever before. Michael Lacroix, president and CEO of Collingwood General and Marine Hospital, said they are set to submit the second phase of a redevelopment plan to the province this March. This is part of the early design stage for a new hospital in Collingwood, which was already included on the 2021 Infrastructure Ontario project list at a cost between $200 and $499 million.
