Editorial: Texas can reduce number of uninsured children

It’s bad enough that Texas has the highest number and rate of uninsured children in the nation, but there’s something worse: Seeing the totals increase by 16% from 2016 to 2018 even though the state economy is expanding nicely, according to a recent report by the Georgetown University Center for Children and Families.
