Former Procter & Gamble Co. manager John Winstel has been hired to serve as the next chief accounting officer of DaVita Inc., the Denver-based Fortune 500 company that is the largest provider of kidney care services in the United States. Winstel joined Procter & Gamble in 2002 and rose to be associate director of finance while based in Cincinnati with the maker of consumer goods such as Tampax tampons.
