Hartford Hospital named Jeffrey A. Flaks president/CEO, starting Aug. 1. He is the 21st CEO of Hartford Hospital, which is in its 157th year. He replaces Elliot Joseph, who will remain as president/CEO of the hospital's parent company, Hartford HealthCare. He came to Hartford Hospital in 2007 from MidState Medical Center in Meriden, where he was chief operating officer from 2004 to 2007.
