The Health Plan, WVU Medicine terminate merger agreement

The Health Plan and WVU Medicine have mutually agreed to terminate a previously announced partnership. According to a press release from The Health Plan, the mutual agreement to terminate means the two entities will not undergo a merger. The Health Plan sent a statement to the West Virginia offices of the insurance commissioner on Nov. 27, notifying the offices of the termination.
