Effective immediately, Clare Sapienza-Eck will serve in this new role to drive strategy and growth for the New Jersey-based health system.

Inspira Health announced Thursday afternoon the appointment of Clare Sapienza-Eck as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), a newly-created role for the health system.

Effective immediately, Sapienza-Eck has been promoted from vice president of business development and planning to serve as CSO of the southern New Jersey-based health system.

In her new role, Sapienza-Eck will "advance long-term growth strategy" for Inspira. She will oversee "the development of system-wide strategic priorities to advance the mission” of the organization by extending healthcare access for the health system's communities through the expansion of business opportunities and physician relationships.

"Clare’s storied career and dedication to the health care industry has made a tremendous impact on the Inspira organization, as well as our patients," Amy Mansue, CEO of Inspira, said in the press release. "Her ability to forecast near- and long-term market trends — coupled with her vast expertise in business development and strategic planning — will be invaluable to the growth of Inspira and our continued mission to improve the lives of our communities."

Sapienza-Eck has over 25 years' worth of experience working in healthcare and has led multiple planning efforts for the health system, including the development of Inspira's most recent hospital, Inspira Medical Center Mullica Hill, which opened last December.

"I have had the immense privilege of working with the Inspira organization and its incredible leadership, staff and patients for more than two and a half decades, and I am incredibly proud of the community we have collectively built," Sapienza-Eck said in the press release. "As we continue to focus on high-quality care and access across South Jersey, I look forward to driving new opportunities to serve our community and continually fulfill our mission."
