Kalispell Regional Healthcare hospital meets whistleblower settlement mandates

Kalispell Regional Healthcare has met initial deadlines for making required improvements to its compliance program as part of a settlement with the federal government over a whistleblower complaint against the hospital. In September 2018 Kalispell Regional Healthcare reached a settlement with the federal government for $24 million, ending a whistleblower complaint filed by Jon Mohatt, the former chief financial officer of the hospital’s Physician Network, in 2016.
