Knoxville doctor running for U.S. Senate says 'political correctness' is a cancer

Josh Gapp, a Knoxville-based physician, on Thursday added his name to the growing list of Republicans intent on replacing longtime U.S. Sen. Lamar Alexander. The political outsider announced his bid with a video posted to his website which shows him at a microscope talking about how political correctness is a cancer as it scrolls through photos of former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick and Democratic Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, among others.
