L.A. County revives bid to buy St. Vincent hospital to house homeless residents

The L.A. County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday voted to resume efforts to buy St. Vincent Medical Center and turn it into housing for the homeless as the hospital's owners prepare to close the facility. The vote was part of a handful of motions designed to more quickly respond to provide housing for people living on the streets.
