Carteret General Hospital will soon have a new CEO for the first time in 30 years. Richard A. Brvenik, a senior vice president with Hartford HealthCare system in Connecticut, has been selected as president and CEO of Carteret General Hospital, Pat Joyce, chairman of the hospital's Board of Trustees has announced. Brvenik will begin work in Carteret County in September and will succeed longtime CEO/President Fred A. Odell III, who retired on July 25.
