Nevada Democrats resurrect push for public health insurance option as session winds down

After four years on the back burner, legislative Democrats are reviving efforts to create a public health insurance option. Senate Bill 420, introduced Wednesday by Senate Majority Leader Nicole Cannizzaro, would require insurers who provide coverage to the state's Medicaid clients to also offer a public option plan on the state's health insurance exchange.
