A new children's hospital is coming to this region, part of a $52 million investment. But there are nine more underway at Pikeville Medical Center, either in construction, demolition or design phases. Officials expect it to bring about 200 new jobs, though it comes almost exactly six months to the day as 130 positions were eliminated.
