New president and CEO selected for Mon Health System

After months of searching, Mon Health System has selected a new president and chief executive officer who will take office effective Oct. 1. The Mon Health System board of directors announced Monday by press release the appointment of David S. Goldberg to the position. He currently serves as a senior vice president with Highmark Health’s Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh and brings 17 years of senior health care leadership experience to Mon Health.
