Opinion: Mercy, Bon Secours merger typical of trends in healthcare industry

In the years after the French Revolution and Napoleon’s rule, a dozen sisters of Bon Secours formed in 1824 as the Paris archbishop presided over their vows. The congregants of Bon Secours, which translates to “good help,” dedicated themselves to exactly that.
