Search and rescue teams have recovered the body of Baptist Health Care CFO Kerry Vermillion, who went missing Friday in Santa Rosa Sound, Baptist spokeswoman Candy McGuyre said on Sunday. His exact cause of death is not known, but Florida Fish and Wildlife spokesman Stan Kirkland said that the Medical Examiner's Office has collected Vermillion's body and is expected to perform an autopsy on Monday. Kirkland said Vermillion was one of several people on a 26-foot Chaparral boat that went out a quarter mile in front of the Portofino Condominiums about 3 p.m. Friday.
