Resigning from Trump administration would be 'a dereliction of duty' amid COVID pandemic, Medicare chief Verma says

Medicare and Medicaid chief Seema Verma said resigning in the midst of a pandemic would be a “dereliction of duty.” Verma is among Vice President Mike Pence’s closest allies in the administration. She said she is focused on ensuring a smooth transition to the Biden administration in her last days.
