Syracuse lawmakers OK drug plan that will save CNY taxpayers millions

Syracuse lawmakers approved a joint prescription drug plan that will save the city around $1 million next year. The city partnered with Onondaga County and Oswego County to seek a joint plan that will save taxpayers in the three areas around $5 million next year. The Syracuse Common Council OKed the city’s portion of the deal at a meeting Monday.
