From UPMC to Wood Mode: Thousands of people were laid off in Pennsylvania in the first half of 2019

In the first six months of the year, numerous companies in Pennsylvania announced major layoffs through the WARN (the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification) Act. WARN notices were issued in the midstate in the Harrisburg, Mechanicsburg, Reading, Lancaster, and Red Lion areas. The list below also includes other WARN notices that were issued throughout Pennsylvania.
