Leapfrog Issues Hospital Safety Report Cards

To identify which hospitals are the most and least likely to cause avoidable patient harm, The Leapfrog Group is generating report cards with letter grades—"one score that any consumer can understand before they walk into the door of a hospital." But the American Hospital Association calls many of the measures used by Leapfrog to evaluate safety "flawed."
