Mary Jo Lewis spent much of her first 100 days as CEO of the former Sumner Regional Health System Inc. listening to employees, physicians and the communities served by the hospital system that's now part of LifePoint Hospitals Inc. Now she's working on strategies to further shed the renamed Gallatin-based HighPoint Health System of its reputation for accounting problems and an overly quick expansion that eventually led to its bankruptcy filing and subsequent sale to LifePoint.
