The outside firm, Chamberlin Edmonds and Associates of Atlanta, has received $4.8 million for work on a contract approved in November 2008. Last Monday, Jackson's governing board approved a new one-year contract for an estimated $8.3 million, based on how much money CEA brings into Jackson Health System, the Miami Herald reports.
